About

Engineer, founder, and product builder.

AC

The Short Version

I'm Adam Cooper — a senior software engineer turned startup founder. I've spent my career building products at the intersection of engineering excellence and user experience.

At Shopify, I led the design system team for the React Native Point of Sale app, building the component library that unified the merchant experience across platforms. Before that, I led an engineering team through a successful acquisition.

Now I'm building my own portfolio of companies across safety & community (Reasy, smallacts.app), family law & divorce (CaseTime, DivorceNetworkPro, VisitProof, CustodyCompanion), fashion & CG brands (Kaweara, ManneredManes), and art (ArtCollection, StudioArchive, ArchiveOne, ArtMaster, ArtNetwork). Each one solves a problem I've seen firsthand.

I care about craft, speed, and building things that genuinely help people. If that resonates, I'd love to connect.

Values

Craft

I believe in building things well. Clean code, thoughtful design, and attention to detail aren't luxuries — they're how you build products that last.

Speed

Shipping is a muscle. I bias toward action, iterate quickly, and believe the fastest way to learn is to put something in front of users.

Integrity

I say what I mean and do what I say. I'm transparent about tradeoffs, honest about what I don't know, and accountable for my work.

User Empathy

Every line of code serves a person. I start with the user's problem, not the technology, and measure success by the impact on their experience.

Companies

I'm involved in several companies across safety & community, family law, fashion, and art.

Now

Right now I'm focused on growing my portfolio of companies across safety & community, family law, fashion, and art — from road safety and small acts to case management, custody tools, art platforms, and CG brands.

I'm also writing more about the transition from senior IC to founder, design systems at scale, and the technical decisions behind building multiple products simultaneously.
